Dear Joe: It was a pleasure meeting you and spending time together discussing your race to unseat Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. As we both agree, it is essential that we “Pink Slip Debbie” in the upcoming fall elections. I was very impressed with your deep understanding of the issues facing us as a nation, the economy, and the current state of the world. I cannot be more pleased with your unwavering support of Israel, the only true democracy in the Middle East and the only true ally of the United States in that region. I believe your grasp of the complexities of the “Arab Spring” set you apart from all of your opponents. In addition to the support for Israel, is your commitment to protecting the rights of the unborn and safeguarding traditional marriage that appeal to me, not only as a committed conservative, but especially in my position as the senior pastor of a church here in Broward County. We all recognize that America is heading in the wrong direction in so many areas today. I know that you and I are in agreement that a change in leadership in the White House and here in the 23rd Congressional District is in order. I firmly believe that you are the agent of the change that we so desperately need here in South Florida. I also am convinced that your candidacy brings the best chance of defeating Debbie this fall. I believe that you alone possess the ability to reach across political party lines; to both right minded Democrats as well as Independents, without compromising your core beliefs.
