Mason says Kaufman is different from “the typical Congressman” and will make people’s lives better
Jackie Mason, the world famous Jewish comedian, has made a videotaped endorsement of Republican candidate for United States Congress Joe Kaufman. Kaufman is vying to unseat Debbie Wasserman Schultz in the November 2012 elections. In his endorsement, Mason states, “Let’s be honest about it. There are very few people who go into Congress because they care about people and they care about accomplishing something that will… make you a better life and create something that’s constructive and creative so that your life will change because of it. You know what? This is what this man is – Joe Kaufman.
This man cares. He’s not motivated so that he can improve his own life; he’s interested in improving your life. He’s not trying to live better himself; he wants you to live better. That’s the difference between him and the typical Congressman.” And “I want to tell you something. If you care about Israel, about Medicare, about your health and your life and the life of your fellow brothers and sisters in this country and people everywhere, vote for Joe Kaufman. And if you don’t, I’ll be honest with ya, I lost my respect for you.”
