Herman Cain praises Congressional candidate Joe Kaufman as a “bold leader” Names Kaufman a Lieutenant in his organization’s Army of Davids   In a press release sent out by his group, Herman Cain, the immensely popular former Presidential hopeful, praised candidate Joe Kaufman and named him a Lieutenant in his Army of Davids. Kaufman is looking to unseat DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz in Florida’s Congressional District 23 election.

Kaufman, who previously served as the Broward co-chairman of the Steve Forbes for President campaign, was amongst the first in America to push for a National Flat Tax to replace the current income tax system. Kaufman sees the same potential in Herman Cain’s 9-9-9 tax reform plan.

Cain praised Kaufman as a “bold leader,” who is “not afraid to bring simple, common sense solutions to Washington.” His group, Cain’s Solutions Revolution, asked its followers to think about ways to support Kaufman and provided a link for them to donate to Kaufman’s campaign. Kaufman stated, “It is indeed an honor to be named to a position in Herman Cain’s Army of Davids. Herman Cain is one of the courageous few who have challenged America’s antiquated tax system, and I stand with him in making sure that bold initiatives such as his are enacted.”

Candidate for U.S. Congress Joe Kaufman is honored by the group Friends for Israel, who named him as a signatory to their new work, the celebration of which will be held in Israel’s Knesset. The group’s past project, a tribute to Israel’s Declaration of Independence, included such signatories as Presidents Reagan, Bush and Carter and Israeli Prime Ministers Netanyahu, Sharon, Peres, Rabin and Shamir.

In an effort to conduct damage control, DNC Chair and Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz has canceled her upcoming speech that was going to take place in front of a radical Muslim group, EMERGE USA. Her Washington, D.C. office confirmed the cancellation.   On flyers that now have been pulled down from EMERGE USA’s official website, Wasserman Schultz had been listed as the Keynote Speaker for the group’s annual fundraising banquet to be held on the night of April 21st at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott North.   Joe Kaufman, who is running for U.S. Congress against Wasserman Schultz, had co-written an article about the situation for the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s FrontPage Magazine, titled ‘Debbie Wasserman Schultz Empowers a Radical Muslim Fundraiser.’
