Kaufman is 5 for 5 in wins to see who should challenge Debbie Wasserman Schultz

Joe Kaufman, the Republican candidate for United States Congress looking to unseat Debbie Wasserman Schultz, has won the latest Tea Party straw poll.

Joe KaufmanThe poll took place, this past week, following a Tea Party debate between Kaufman and all but one of his primary opponents. During the debate, Kaufman took issue with his opponents’ soft stance on Iran. This is an important matter, given the fact that Iran is actively conducting war games with missiles that Iran openly admits can be used to target U.S. bases and Israel.

Tea Party Fort Lauderdale was honored to host a Congressional Debate for Florida District 23. We would like to thank Republican Candidates Gineen Bresso, Ozzie deFaria, Juan Eliel Garcia, and Joe Kaufman for participating on Saturday, July 7, 2012.  We also want to thank BREC Chairman, Richard DeNapoli, for his participation as moderator. The candidates agreed to support whomever of the four on the stage received the nomination.  Here are the results of the straw poll taken immediately following the event.

Kaufman Goes 3 for 3 in Poll Wins Against Debbie Wasserman Schultz

Joe Kaufman has won his third poll out of three polls to determine which Republican candidate should challenge Debbie Wasserman Schultz in the November 2012 congressional election. The poll was conducted by the political website Red Broward.

In every one of the polls, Kaufman beat out his two closest GOP rivals by a wide margin. In this latest poll, Kaufman received over 36% of the vote, while Karen Harrington and Ozzie DeFaria received just over 8% and 10% respectively.

The Kaufman for Congress campaign is pleased to introduce its new Field Director, Grant Leibell. Grant is a native of South Florida, born in 1978 and raised in Miami-Dade County. Grant's parents taught him that hard work and dedication are values that will get you far in America. During college, Grant moved to Central Florida where he met his wife of now eight years. They have two sons, four year old Moses and two year old Quincy. Grant has over 15 years experience as a restauranteur, owning and operating a franchise restaurant in Winter Park, Florida. He is heavily involved in his community and with the Republican Party of Seminole County, where he serves as a District Chair. He has worked on many local, state and national political campaigns and is especially excited to help Joe Kaufman 'Pink Slip Debbie' Wasserman Schultz.
